Partner charges

Collins charge an ongoing fee of £10 per location per month for the monitoring of your integration.

Getting started

To get started, provide confirmation in writing to your DesignMyNight/Collins Account Manager that your data can be shared with Airship, requesting that Collins send your API key and secret to Airship for data access.

Your DesignMyNight Account Manager will provide Airship with API access. Airship will then configure your account to automatically retrieve data from Collins on a daily basis.

What data is sent to Airship?

Contact email address
Contact first name
Contact last name
Contact phone number
Contact consents
Booking party size
Booking stage value
Booking type
Booking unit
Booking party date/time
Booking enquiry date/time

We retrieve any bookings with a seated date window from 7 days in the past up to 15 days in the future.

Note that Airship only stores bookings where a customer contact identifier is associated with the booking (email or mobile number). Walk-in bookings often don't capture this data so the number of bookings showing in Collins and those showing in Airship won't always correlate.

Booking statuses

Airship will receive bookings with these statuses from your Collins database:

  • Confirmation Received

  • Completed

  • Unsuccessful

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Contacts in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

You’ll be able to select your Bookings group to see contacts that have been added via the Collins connector. The name of the group may vary for your particular account set-up.

How could you use this integration

  • Send post visit emails to drive feedback.

  • Send pre booking emails to inform customers of anything they need to know before they arrive.

  • Set up a specific welcome journey for customers who have booked with you.

  • Contribute to PoP (Proof of presence).
