Getting started

To get started, provide confirmation in writing to your Pepper account manager that your data can be shared with Airship, requesting that Pepper provide API credentials to Airship (we'll need an x-application-id and password for the API)

After confirmation has been provided, Pepper will provide Airship with access to your data.

Once configured, Airship will automatically pull data from Pepper in to your Airship database every 15 minutes.

What data is written to Airship?

  • Contact first name

  • Contact surname

  • Contact email address

  • Contact mobile number

  • Contact Date of Birth (Note, this isn't captured for guest orders)

  • Contact email opt in status

  • Contact unit (location of order)

  • Contact Membership number

  • Purchase data

    • Purchaser history - unit/location

    • Purchaser history - transaction reference

    • Purchaser history - SKU

    • Purchaser history - quantity

    • Purchaser history - value

Dynamic fields will also be captured against a contact to show details based on their Primary Perk*;

  • Stamps balance

  • Points points

  • Last swipe date (when the primary perk has points added, or redeemed)

  • Loyalty signup date

*Within Pepper its possible to have multiple Perks / Schemes running, so we will identify a Primary Perk as part of the setup process. This means we only take the Balance / Points / Dates associated to that perk being adjusted

Additionally;

  • Last ordered date (This occurs whenever an order is associated to a customer, regardless of their primary perk being adjusted)

View your data in Airship

Contacts will be stored in groups under each relevant unit/location with an appropriate group name depending on the perks (offers) which have been set up in Pepper. The group name will be Pepper - {order type}

If you click into one of the groups, you'll see all contacts who made a purchase using that method.

Additionally, if you wish to view the purchase dates and line items, you can view this under View EPOS data, within a customer's record:

How could you use this integration

  • Send post visit emails to drive feedback.

  • Set up a specific welcome journey for customers who have used your app.

  • Contribute to PoP (Proof of presence)

Historic data

It is not possible to obtain historic data from the integration. If you would like your historic contacts uploading, a manual upload of contact data will be required.
