How to set up the DOJO x Airship connector

Switching on the DOJO x Airship connector means that your booking data is automatically sent to your Airship database

Getting Started

To get started, provide confirmation in writing to your DOJO account manager that your data can be shared with Airship.

After confirmation has been provided, you'll have to provide DOJO with;

  • Airship Personal Access Token (Read + Write)

  • Airship Account ID

  • Airship unit IDs

Creating an API token

You'll need to create an API "Personal Access Token" for them to be able to pass data into your account securely.

To do this. you can either;

  1. Invite your contact at DOJO as a user to your Airship account and let them do this themselves, or;

  2. You can do this on their behalf and pass the token on to them securely.

Airship Account ID

DOJO also requires your Airship Account ID. If you're not sure what this is, please request it from our Customer Success team.

Airship Unit IDs

DOJO will also require your Airship units and Unit IDs. If you're not sure what these are, please request them from our Customer Success team.

What data is sent to Airship?

A list of fields that Airship captures, or updates based on bookings made are:

  • Contact fields

    • First Name

    • Surname

    • Mobile Number

    • Email opt in

    • Email Address

    • DOB

  • Booking info

    • Reservation confirmation number

    • Reservation date/time

    • Enquiry date/time

    • Booking status

    • Booking source

    • Party Size

    • Booking notes

    • Deposit Paid

Booking will also be updated by DOJO (i.e. if a customer cancels), which will be reflected within Airship.

This data contributes to PoP (proof of presence).

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to “Audiences” in the main menu and select “Folders & Groups”.

Any data from Dojo will be visible in the Dojo Bookings group.

To view the booking data, open a contact record and click “View bookings”. This screen will show the booking record details for the customer.

Historic Imports

It is not possible to obtain historic data from the integration. If you would like your historic contacts uploading, a manual upload of contact data will be required.
