Integrating Zonal with Airship will allow us to consume all basket data when we can associate it with a guest via a voucher, booking reference or loyalty card number.

Providing that a voucher was issued by Airship, or we have an integration with your booking/loyalty platform. When one of these touch points is used as part of a transaction - we will bring all the basket data associated with that guest and store it in Airship.

This is also a source of PoP!

Getting started

To set up the Zonal integration, first, you will need to contact your Zonal account manager and Airship Customer Success contact.

From Airship:

  • We'll create an SFTP shared drive to allow Zonal to send data over to us and provide some credentials

From Zonal:

  • Setup a daily feed of basket data to the SFTP

  • Provide a list of your site references so we can map to Airship locations/units

Airship will then configure the integration.

What data is sent to Airship?

This integration will not create or update any contact profiles. It will only apply basket data to a contact based on;

  • if they have been issued a unique voucher code via Airship, and that unique voucher code was used in a transaction

  • If the transaction was associated to a booking reference on the POS (Note, this is only possible via Zonal Tables or if you are on the latest Collins integration and the booking has left a deposit)

  • If the transaction had a loyalty card swipe associated (Note, this is only available if you have Zonal Loyalty)

We will store:

  • Order number

  • Order location (venue)

  • Order Items

    • Menu item name

    • Menu item price

    • Menu item quantity

    • Menu item PLU

View your data in Airship

Contacts are sorted into Folders & Groups against the visited venue (the venue the voucher was redeemed at / the transaction was made at).

From here, you can select your contacts - view all historic orders and items purchased within that transaction.
