Getting Started

Getting set-up with Gift Pro is straight forward! You'll need;

  • An Airship REST API token

  • Your Airship Account ID

  • Your Airship head office Unit ID (location)

Creating an API token

You'll need to create an API "Personal Access Token" for them to be able to pass data into your account securely.

To do this. you can either;

  1. Invite your contact at Gift Pro as a user to your Airship account and let them do this themselves, or;

  2. You can do this on their behalf and pass the token on to them securely.

To create an API Personal Access Token, follow our guide here >

Airship Account ID

Gift Pro may also require your Airship Account ID. If you're not sure what this is, please request it from our Customer Success team.

Airship Head office IDs

Gift Pro will also require your head office unit id (location), which is where all contacts who order via Gift Pro will be placed. The Airship Customer Success team will be able to provide this list.

What data is sent to Airship?

  • Contact first name

  • Contact surname

  • Contact email address

  • Contact email opt in status

  • Contact unit (always head office)

  • Purchase history - unit/location (always head office)

  • Purchase history - Transaction date

  • Purchase history - transaction reference

    • Purchase history - item name

    • Purchase history - item SKU

    • Purchase history - item quantity

    • Purchase history - item value

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Audiences in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

Contacts will be stored in groups under each relevant unit/location with an appropriate group name depending on the type of customer purchase. The group name for all Gift pro orders will be Ordered via Giftpro

If you click into the group, you'll see all contacts who made a purchase.

Additionally, if you wish to view the purchase dates and line items, you can view this under View EPOS data, within a customer's record.

Having purchase history and location information allows this integration to be used as a source of Proof of Presence (PoP) data within your campaigns and insight reports.
