Within the emails section of your Airship account you can create new templates or manage existing ones. Find out how to create new templates here.
This part of the platform is managed by user permissions, so you can choose who within your team has access to this feature, to amend your team's permissions just head to settings > users & roles > manage roles and add or remove the email templates permission.
How to save an existing email as a template
You might want to use the layout & design of some of your existing emails as a template rather than starting from scratch.
tTo do this just head to emails > saved emails and find the email you want to change into a template (you can edit the copy / layout / style etc once it’s been saved as a template too).
Once you’ve loaded your email up just click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner and click “save as template”
You’ll be asked to enter the name of your template & this will then appear under the “create email” section of your dashboard.
Editing existing templates
You might want to edit or update some of your templates from time to time, this is really easy to do. Just head to Emails > Create an email and find the template you want to edit.
You can order your templates in different ways depending on the template you want to find.
They will automatically be ordered by the last template you used to create an email but you can change this to created date or last updated date if you prefer, just use the dropdown at the top of the page
If you can’t see your template in the top 5, just click on show more templates to load up more.
You can also search for your template by name using the search bar at the top of the page
Once you’ve located your template just click on the 3 dots next to the template name & click “edit”
You can also choose to duplicate, delete or view the details of your template here.
