How to set up the Airship connector in Bookatable

Do you use Booktable to collect bookings in your venues? Here's how to add these contacts into your database.

Switching on the Bookatable / Airship connector means that each time a customer makes a booking, the customer and booking data will be automatically sent to your Airship database.

Getting started

To get started, provide confirmation in writing to your Bookatable account manager that your data can be shared with Airship, requesting that Bookatable set up automatic data exports to Airship.

 After confirmation has been provided, Bookatable will provide Airship with access to your data.

Once configured, Airship will automatically pull data from Bookatable exports in to your Airship database daily.

Historic data

If you would like historic data uploaded to your Airship database, ask your Bookatable account manager to send the historic data to Airship. You will need to inform them of the date range of the historic data you wish to upload.

What data is written to Airship?

Contact email address
Contact mobile number
Contact first name
Contact last name
Contact email opt in
Contact SMS opt in
Booking reference ID
Booking party size
Booking stage value
Booking type
Booking unit
Booking party date/time
Booking enquiry date/time
Booking updates (when changes are made in Bookatable, these are sent to Airship)

This data is a source of PoP (proof of presence) too!

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to “Contacts” in the main menu and select “Folders & Groups”.

You’ll be able to select your Booking/Bookatable Group to see contacts within that Group that have been added via the Bookatable connector.
