Partner charges

ResDiary charge an ongoing fee of £10 per location per month to monitor your integration.

Getting started

To get started, provide confirmation in writing to your ResDiary Account Manager that your data can be shared with Airship, requesting that ResDiary send API access details to Airship.

After confirmation has been provided, ResDiary will provide Airship with API access. Airship will then configure your account to automatically retrieve data from ResDiary daily.

The integration can specify the level of consent (Venue/Group) when creating or updating the contact in Airship. Let your Airship Account Manager know how the consent is set up in Resdiary. If it is not provided to us, the default setting is a Group level opt in.

What data is sent to Airship?

This data contributes to PoP (proof of presence).

Additionally, if it's available, purchase data will be switched on by default but can be turned off anytime if not needed. Please contact Customer Success Team to get that updated.

Historic data

Our integration with ResDiary can also import historic data from ResDiary when you first activate the connection with us.

Regarding opt-in data, for historic imports, and where a contact already exists in Airship, the following rules apply:

  1. If the contact is opted out in Airship but opted in within ResDiary

    1. If the opt-out time in Airship newer the opt-in time in ResDiary, the contact will remain opted out

    2. If the opt-out time in Airship is older than the opt-in time in ResDiary, the contact will be opted in

  2. In other scenarios, the opt-in of the existing contact will be kept in Airship.

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Audiences in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

You’ll be able to select your Bookings folder to see contacts that have been added via the ResDiary connector. The name of the folder may vary for your particular account set-up.

ResDiary Promotion Segmentation

If you create a Promotion in ResDiary, then any guests booking for that promotion will also be added to a group of the same name within Airship, as per the examples above.

How could you use this integration

  • Send post visit emails to drive feedback.

  • Send pre booking emails to inform customers of anything they need to know before they arrive.

  • Set up a specific welcome journey for customers who have booked with you.

  • Contribute to PoP (Proof of presence).
