Mr Yum provides an Order and Pay solution that seamlessly integrates with the industry’s leading POS providers – And you can also get customer data flowing directly into your Airship account!

Getting Started

Getting set-up with MrYum is straight forward! You'll need;

  • An Airship REST API token

  • Your Airship Account ID

  • A list of your Airship Unit IDs (locations)

Creating an API token

You'll need to create an API "Personal Access Token" for them to be able to pass data into your account securely.

To do this. you can either

A) invite your contact at MrYum as a user to your Airship account and let them do this themselves, or;

B) you can do this on their behalf and pass the token on to them securely.

To create an API Personal Access Token, follow our guide here >

Airship Account ID

MrYum may also require your Airship Account ID. If you're not sure what this is, please request it from our Customer Success team.

Airship Unit IDs

MrYum will also require a list of Unit IDs (locations) in order to associate purchases with the correct locations in Airship. The Airship Customer Success team will be able to provide this list.

What data is sent to Airship?

  • Contact first name

  • Contact surname

  • Contact email address

  • Contact mobile number

  • Contact email opt in status

  • Contact unit (location of order)

  • Purchase history - unit/location

  • Purchase history - Transaction date

  • Purchase history - transaction reference

  • Purchase history - basket value

Note, the initial implementation of Mr Yum integration will only provide a total basket value, and not itemised basket items.

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Contacts in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

Contacts will be stored in groups under each relevant unit/location with an appropriate group name depending on the type of customer purchase, and will be one of:

  • MrYum - Dine-in

  • MrYum - Delivery

  • MrYum - Counter

  • MrYum - In-venue

  • MrYum - Dine

  • MrYum - Catering

  • MrYum - Bill-pay

If you click into one of the groups, you'll see all contacts who made a purchase using that method.

Additionally, if you wish to view the purchase dates and line items, you can view this under View EPOS data, within a customer's record:

Having purchase history and location information allows this integration to be used as a source of Proof of Presence (PoP) data within your campaigns and insight reports.

Historic Data

The first time an integration is set up, a manual historical sync is needed from Mr Yum side. If you would like historic data uploaded to your Airship database, speak to your Mr Yum account manager to arrange that.
