What can the Audience Exporter do?
This allows you to export and download your data based on your saved searches.
Who can export this data?
Dealing with exports of data should be handled very securely, so we recommend that your account only have a limited number of users with access to this tool.
When this feature is added to your account, Airship will create a new role for the account owner which will give them access to this. Each Account Owner can then select who else will have access to exporting audiences from Airship by going to settings > users & roles > manage users. Here the role can be changed to match the account owners.

How can I get started?
First, you will need to either head to the broadcasts or audiences section and create your saved audience. Here you can build your audience and choose which contacts you would like to export. For example, all contacts who have logged into WiFi in the last 30 days.
Once you’re happy with your selection, you will need to save the search.

Where can I find this?
To access the Audience Export feature head to Audiences > Export. To create an export, select “create new” and choose the saved audience from the dropdown. Name the export something that helps you identify it.
The export will find anyone who is part of your selected audience at the time of the export. This means that the export may be subject to change day to day.
When your export has been completed, you can choose to receive a notification. This will be helpful for any bigger exports as these may take slightly longer to complete.
