Journeys is the place to create all automated emails, whether this is welcoming guests to your brand, or sending them a sweet treat on their birthday.
Once you have logged into your Airship account, Journeys can be found within the navigation bar on the left hand side.
Select Welcome, Birthday or Custom (post visit, PoP, feedback emails and more).

When initially creating a new journey, give the journey a name along with an icon and colour which represents the journey.
The 3 types of journeys that can be set up:
Welcome
This allows you to setup an initial welcome email which will send only to new contacts who are added to your database.
This can then be followed up with a series of welcome emails which are set up as date-triggers. During the process of setting up the date-trigger welcome emails, select contact first opt-in date from the drop down and how many days post for the email to trigger.
Birthday
Create a birthday journey enticing guests to celebrate with a birthday offer. Within this section, multiple emails can be set up pre a guests DOB and post if they have not visited you yet.
Custom
Date Triggered broadcast can be set up based on a wide selection of criteria, allowing you to create emails for post booking, reward redemption and many more:
Metrics
On the overview page of all your journeys, the metrics will appear on each journey to show how many emails have been sent, opened, clicked and how many PoPs have been generated within 30 days of a contact receiving the email. These metrics will also appear when you click into each journey.
The metrics update daily and pull through the data from the last 90 days.
If an email is moved from one journey to another, the metrics for both the journey it has been moved from and the new journey it has been moved into will reset on the day the email is moved.
