What emojis can I pick from? πŸ”

We have a wide-range of emoji themes available to choose from:

Symbols

People

Animals and Nature

Food and Drink

Activity

Travel and Places

Objects

Flags

There's a search bar you can use to help you locate the one you're looking for.

Can I change the skin tones on the People emojis? 🎨

Currently we only have the standard yellow emojis to pick from.

Can I copy emoji's from a different place and paste them into my emails? βœ‚οΈ

We recommend using the emojis we have available within the email builder. We cannot guarantee the emoji copy from elsewhere (e.g. online) will appear correctly on the live email your customers will receive.

Why is my emoji showing as random text or code? 😰

If you see a string of symbols and numbers (like 🌭) when previewing your email on the Airship dashboard instead of an emoji, don’t worry! Your email most likely isn't broken.

Emojis are stored as short snippets of code (like 🌭) within the HTML of your email. Occasionally, your web browser might show you this code instead of the emoji icon while you're building your email or looking at a preview.

The emoji should appear normally on the live email you customers get. To be sure, we advise that you send yourself a test email via the Email Builder to check how the emoji's format when it lands in your inbox.

To be sure your emoji will show up on your emails, just use the standard emojis found in our picker. Very new or obscure emojis can sometimes struggle to load on older versions of email clients or older smartphones.
