How to edit a scheduled email

Find out how to pause, delete or view your scheduled emails.

Emails that are scheduled but not yet sent can be viewed, updated or cancelled. Here's how.


How do I see my scheduled emails?

To view your scheduled emails, go to Emails > Scheduled in the left hand menu.

You will see a list of all your scheduled emails under Scheduled Messages.

Each row shows the email subject, reply-to address, unit, scheduled date and time, and how often it will send.

Any scheduled split test emails will appear in a separate section below called Scheduled Split Test Email Messages.

Note: If you can't see an email you're looking for it might have been sent already, check Emails > Sent on the sidebar. It can take up to an hour for a sent email to appear there.


How do I change who receives a scheduled email? (the audience)

To update the audience for a scheduled email, click the SQL icon on the right hand side of that email.

This will take you to the Define Audience screen, where you can change the search criteria for who the email will be sent to.

After making your edits, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Back to scheduled to save your changes.


How do I pause a scheduled email?

To pause a scheduled email so it doesn't send, click the pause icon.

Confirm the pause when prompted.

After confirming pausing the email, the email will stay in your scheduled list but won't be sent out while it is paused.

Click the icon again to unpause it.


How do I change the date and time the scheduled email is sent?

If you need to change when a scheduled email is set to send, you will need to click the red X icon to delete the scheduled email.

Confirm the cancellation when prompted.

Set the email up again with the new date and time.


Cancelling a scheduled email

To cancel a scheduled email completely, click the red X icon next to it.

You will be asked to confirm before it is deleted.


What if the email has already sent?

Once an email has been sent it will no longer appear in your Scheduled list. You can find it in Emails > Sent page instead.

Sent emails cannot be cancelled, edited or paused.
