How to re-send a lost email to a contact (who can't find it) (πŸ“½οΈ)

How to re-send emails that have been lost, blocked, or filtered to spam.

Written by Stephen Evans

Introduction

If a guest technically received your email but cannot locate it - possibly due to a spam filter, firewall, or an overcrowded inbox - you can resend it using a "forwarding" style method.

This guide explains how to get that email back in front of your guest.

⚠️ If you've followed this guide and cannot see the email the guest was expecting in the list of sent broadcasts, then the guest was never sent the email to begin with. Check our guide here to re-send the email a different way.

Step 1. Log into Airship and on the Overview page use the contact search bar to find the contact using their email address or mobile number.

Step 2. Now you are on the contact's profile page, click View Sent Broadcasts to view the specific emails the contact has been sent.

Step 3. Filter your search by Date and Message Type to locate the specific email.

Once found, click the Resend button to send a fresh copy of the email to the guest.

Another message will pop up to confirm you want to send that email - click OK.

After this you will see the email is now 'queued'.

It should take only a few minutes for the email to be sent. If you refresh the page later you should see that button says 'resend' which means it's done (and you can re-send it again if needed).

And that's it! Hopefully now your contact sees your email. πŸ€žπŸ˜€
