Getting started

Getting set-up with Kobas is straight forward! You will need to head to your Kobas account Administration > Integration Settings > CRM. Once checked you will see the API integration credentials.
โ€‹

You will then need to press the Copy button (two pieces of paper) and it should have following details:

  • Kobas client_id

  • Kobas client_secret

  • Kobas company_id

  • A list of your Kobas venue IDs*

Once you have all this in place, get in touch with your Airship Customer Success contact and we'll handle the rest.

*Note, we can get the venue IDs from the API if required

How it works

We currently only get purchase data where there is a known contact associated to the record (i.e. via Kobas Loyalty).

For a later phase, we are looking at identifying anonymous purchase data (see here) back to a customer based on if a Gift card or Voucher code was used with the transaction.

What data is sent to Airship?

  • Contact title

  • Contact first name

  • Contact surname

  • Contact email address

  • Contact mobile number

  • Contact Date of Birth

  • Contact email opt in status

  • Contact address

  • Contact City

  • Contact Postcode

  • Contact unit (location of order)

    • Purchase- unit/location

    • Purchase - transaction reference

    • Purchase - Order type

    • Purchase - Items

      • Purchaser history - SKU

      • Purchaser history - quantity

      • Purchaser history - value

      • Purchaser history - description

View your data in Airship

Once the connector is enabled, you will be able to see data flowing into your Airship account, by navigating to Folders & Groups.

To access your Contact Folders in Airship, scroll down to Contacts in the main menu and select Folders & Groups.

From here you can select a specific location, and will see a folder called Kobas and a group called Purchases.

Which will contain all contacts from the Kobas platform.

Having purchase history and location information allows this integration to be used as a source of Proof of Presence (PoP) data within your campaigns and insight reports.
