Written by Stephen Evans

Where to find the Proof of Presence reports

To find your reports, log into Airship and go to Insights > Reports. This will open in a new tab in your browser.

Once you're in, click Proof of Presence from the left-hand sidebar.

What's in here? πŸ—‚οΈ

Proof of Presence (PoP) reports are all about guest visits. If your Airship account is connected to a booking platform or other data source that tracks when guests visit your venues, these reports help you understand how often guests are coming back, how recently they visited, and how visit patterns differ across your locations.

The reports πŸ“‹

πŸ“Š Database visit rates

Shows you the number of visits by guests over a date range you choose, broken down by how many times they've visited. So you can see what percentage of your guests have visited once, twice, three times and so on.

Useful for: Understanding the loyalty of your customer base and how many guests are returning versus only visiting once.

πŸ• Recency of visit summary

Shows you what percentage of your database has visited within the last week, month, 90 days, 6 months, and year.

Useful for: Getting a quick snapshot of how recently your contacts have been visiting your venues and how active your database is overall.

πŸ” Repeat visit rate by location

Shows you how often guests who have visited you come back more than once, broken down by location over a date range you choose.

Useful for: Understanding what percentage of your guests are returning visitors at each location, for example spotting which venues have the strongest repeat visit rate.

πŸ“ Visit Count by Location

Shows you the total number of Proof of Presence visits recorded across your locations over a date range you choose, broken down by venue.

Useful for: Quickly seeing how many visits each of your locations is generating and comparing footfall across your sites.

πŸ” Visit frequency

Shows you the average number of times a guest has visited your venues within a date range you choose.

Useful for: Understanding how often your average guest comes back, for example how many times a year the typical guest visits your sites.
