Sometimes you'll want to share an insight or answer that Ask Airship has given you. You can do this by generating a shareable link directly from the chat.
📤 Sharing a conversation
Open the chat you want to share
Click Share conversation in the top right corner
Click Create link to generate a shareable URL
Click Copy link to copy it to your clipboard
📸 Shared links are a snapshot
When you share a conversation, the link captures the chat as it is at that moment. If you carry on chatting with Ask Airship after sharing, those new messages won't appear in the shared link.
If you want someone to see the latest version of the conversation, simply share the link again.
🔒 Public vs private links
By default, any link you create is private. This means it can only be viewed by people who are logged into your Airship account.
If you want to share it with someone outside your organisation, toggle the chat from private to public. Anyone with the link will then be able to view it.
For example, if you want to share a conversation with the Airship team you'll need to switch your chat to Public.
❌ Deactivating a link
If you no longer want a link to be active, click Deactivate this link and then Confirm. The link will stop working immediately.
If you are looking to deactivate the link after you've clicked away from the Ask Airship chat, you will need to find the chat on the Ask Airship chat history, click the 'share conversation' button again and then click 'Deactivate this link'.
⚠️ Accessing a private link without permission
If someone tries to open a private link and they don't have access to your Airship account, they'll see an error page. They'll need to log in or contact their Airship administrator to view it.
