🤖 About Ask Airship
Ask Airship is your AI-powered assistant built into your Airship account. You can ask it questions about your data, get insights, and even kick off tasks, all in plain English. No need to dig through reports yourself.
🔍 Finding Ask Airship
You'll find Ask Airship in the left-hand navigation menu. Click it to open the home screen where you can start a new chat, pick up a previous one, or use a quick-action button to get going fast.
⚡ Quick-action buttons
At the top of the Ask Airship home screen you'll see four shortcut buttons:
Create an email
Send an SMS
Find a report
Create a reward
These are a quick way to jump straight into a task without needing to type anything.
💬 Asking a question
Type your question into the "Get some insight" box and hit send. Ask Airship will also show you a suggested prompt to help spark ideas. You can either click Ask this to use it, or hit Suggest something else for a different idea.
Useful for: getting quick answers about your guest data, email performance, feedback, visit trends, and more.
🕘 Recent chats
Your previous conversations are saved under Recent chats on the home screen.
These are private to your login, so other users on the account won't be able to see them.
If you do want to share your conversation with colleagues or the Airship team, click 'share conversation' found in the top right corner of the chat page.
💡Tips for getting the best results
Be specific. "How did our last email campaign perform?" works better than "Tell me about our emails."
Break it down. Ask one thing at a time rather than a big multi-part question.
Ask for a format. If you want a table or chart, just ask for one.
Refine as you go. If the answer isn't quite right, follow up with a more specific question in the same chat.
✅ Good to know
No guest data leaves Airship. Ask Airship uses AI to build the query, but your data stays within Airship.
It sticks to Airship topics. It's trained to help with your Airship account, so it won't go off topic.
It knows the Academy. You can ask it how to do things in Airship and it can pull from our help guides.
Groups are saved automatically. If Ask Airship builds a guest group for you, it gets saved in a folder called Ask Airship in your account.
