How to create and manage saved audiences πŸ‘₯πŸ”

Save your contact searches in Airship to use again and again

Written by Stephen Evans

What is a saved audience?

A saved audience is a search you've built and saved in Airship so you can use it again whenever you need it.

Instead of setting up the same filters from scratch each time you sent a broadcast, you build it once and it's there ready to go. For example, you might regularly want to target "all contacts who haven't visited in 90 days" or "all loyalty members in London."

Rather than rebuilding that search every time, you save it and reuse it as often as you like. It also keeps things consistent if multiple people on your team are working from the same audience.

You can use saved audiences for things like exports, broadcasts, and segments.

Creating a saved audience

  1. Go to Database > Search

  2. Define your search using the available criteria (like Milestones, exclude guests, etc.)

  3. Once you're happy with it, give it a name under Save Audience (optional) and click Save Audience

Viewing and managing your saved audiences

To see all your saved audiences, or to edit or delete one, go to Database > Saved Audiences.

From here you can:

  • Click Edit to change the criteria of a saved audience

  • Click Delete to remove it

Note: Deleting a saved audience doesn't delete the contacts within it from your database. It just removes the saved search.
